I'm an artist and wondering if any Viola plants will be in bloom in the coming months?

Answer

There are Viola cultivars usually planted out in early spring in the perennial garden and in containers at the NYBG entrances. Wild violas have also grown around and under the magnolias along Magnolia Way.

See this link for more about Violas at the garden.

We hope you will enjoy every blooming moment.

Hope this helps.

Note: Tripods and easels are not allowed on the Garden's lawns. See the Plan Your Visit page or check with visitor information for more on this: 718 817-8649 or 8088.
