When can shrubs in containers be planted?

Answer

There is more flexibility for planting containerized plants, but in the summer they should be watered well and frequently. Water immediately after planting and then when the soil 1 inch below the surface feels dry to the touch. Water thoroughly until the water goes all through the container and comes out of the bottom holes.
