Q

Where can I buy seeds?

I'm interested in growing my own vegetables but I'd like to buy non-GMO seeds locally in NYC and I'm not sure where to go.

There are many vendors of Seeds of Change seeds in New York City.  It is a well known brand of Certified Organic seeds that have no GMO's.  You can find a source that is most convenient for you using their store locator.

There are also some excellent mail order resources.  You should consider one in particular that is north of  New York City in Accord, NY.  Hudson Valley Seeds  offers heirloom and open-pollinated seeds. They have no hybrids and nothing genetically engineered. And the art work on their seed packets can be quite amazing!
