The Native Plant Garden in the New York Botanical Garden has many plants that are listed in the USDA list of plants endangered in New York State (https://plants.usda.gov/java/threat).
Here are a few:
Wheat sedge (Carex atherodes)
Toothed woodfern (Dryopteris carthusiana)
Log fern (D. celsa)
Crested wood fern (D. cristata)
Hyssop-leaved thoroughwort (Eupatorium hyssopifolium
Ontario blazing star (Liatris cylindracea)
Cardinal flower (Lobelia cardinalisi)
Downy phlox (Phlox pilosa)
Rosebay (Rhododendron maximum)
Pink lady's slipper (Cypripedium acule)
White lady's slipper (C. candidum)
Please come to the NYBG to check these out but note that any specific plant may not be flowering or even visible in all seasons.
