Do you have a "Japanese tea apple tree" at NYBG?
I think it is Malus theifera, but the is referred to as Malus hupehensis (only one vendor may have it called Forest Farm Nursery (see below). We have a M. hupehensis listed on our living collections here at NYBG. The code G/059/B specifies its location here, which is the South Arb Crabapple Collection Central - which is opposite Daffodil Hill. Crabs are going out of flower now. I hope this helps.
