Q. When is peak bloom time for roses?

Answer

Generally mid to late May into the first two weeks of June is peak bloom time for roses. Another bloom cycle is in the fall, when temperatures begin to cool. However, there are roses that bloom off and on throughout the growing season. For information about roses at NYBG, see the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden.
