How do I grow gardenias indoors?

Answer

Gardenias (Gardenia augusta, syn. G. jasminoides) are beautiful, evergreen houseplants loved for their creamy, very fragrant flowers. They are a little difficult to grow in household conditions as they are temperamental in their culture requirements. They respond best to cool temperatures, high humidity, constant soil moisture and bright to full sunshine.
