Can you offer advice on how to propagate string of hearts? I would love to add more strands to make it fuller

Answer

String of hearts (Ceropegia woodii)  is easily rooted from cuttings even in the parent container. Take cuttings about 4 - 6" long with at least one or two nodes and you can insert them back into the container. Use a bamboo skewer to poke a hole to the correct depth and insert the cutting, firming the soil to hold it in place. Using a rooting hormone will help but is not absolutely necessary. Make sure you keep track of the direction of your cuttings. The part of the stem closest to the pot should be inserted into the soil for best rooting.
