Q. How do I water my poinsettia?

Answer

When watering your poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima), check the soil to see if it is starting to dry out, then water from the bottom, pouring room-temperature water into the saucer. Indoor humidity is usually low and will cause the plant to dry sooner during the week. Under favorable conditions, the bracts will remain attractive for a few months. Remove any fallen leaves or bracts as needed.
