Plumeria (frangipani) is a fragrant tropical plant native to the Caribbean. It needs lots and lots of direct sunlight--at least six hours a day--to grow successfully. Unfortunately, a north-facing window in the New York area just doesn't provide the light your plant requires.

For your plant to flower, you would need to use plant lights to recreate the bright, sunny environment in which Plumeria thrives. Alternatively, you can replace your plant with one better adapted to the lower-light conditions of your window.
