Q. How and where and when can I purchase some mickel's wood ferns???
I see them at the NYBG. When I look them up on internet I see references to past sales of them, hosted by the Mickels themselves..... but nothing currently. You do't sell them in the shop.

I searched and inquired about Mickels Wood Fern, but it is not available presently. Both the head of the department, and Dr. Mickel have confirmed this. If any source for this fern (a natural hybrid) become available, we will let you know. Maybe the American Fern soceity can help through a member sharing the fern. http://amerfernsoc.org/
