Am tryingto locate source retail source for Thalictrum thalictroides forma rosea.

A spring blooming meadow rue that is pink; can you help?

Answer

Thalictrum thalictroides is a synonym for Anemonella thalictroides.  Searching under the preffered name of Anemonella thalictroides f. rosea gives somewhat better results.  Most of the sources are either in the UK, out of stock at this time  or offer only seed. But, at the time of publishing, there is a Canadian Nursery that stocks the plant and will ship to the US: Fraser's Thimble Farm.

A North Carolina nursery offers a cultivar of A. thalictroides f. rosea with a double flower called A. thalictroides f. rosea 'Oscar Schoaf': Plant Delights (called 'Schoaf's Double' here). It is also available at Far Reaches Farm in Washington state and Broken Arrow Nursery in Connecticut.

Good luck with your search!
