Since you are in NYC, the flower market would be a good place to find what you want, although you may have to order ahead from a wholesaler like G. Page, or Associated Flower market, opposite each other on 28th street, between 6th and 7th streets. High summer is usually the time when lotus and waterlilies are blooming in this area. These wholesalers open early and are pretty busy, and usually close mid day. There are other vendors with an array of flowers and supplies on that street as well, to check out. Nearer to 7th there is Jamali Garden shop. Lots of great floral supplies, like vases, and decor galore.. Have fun exploring!
