Answer

Orchids out of flower require the same care as in flower, well there are exceptions, since there thousands of orchid hybrids. What kind of orchid are you growing? If it's the popular moth orchid (Phalaenopsis), water when it is approaching dryness, usually twice a week depending on the potting mixture, and water with room temp water early in the day, not at night.
