Could someone identify the species of what I believe is a type of Purple Cholla Cactus/Cylindropuntia in NYBG's Rock Garden?

I checked NYBG's Garden Navigator, and the plant was located very close to Loc. Rg/c/07. Thank you!

Answer

Hi Daniel,

That plant is called Cylindropuntia imbricata.
