Q. Do celosia need a lot of watering?
Celosia (Cockscomb) is relatively easy to grow outdoors in the ground or in pots if they are planted after the weather turns warm. Plant them in a sunny location for the best flowers and dead-head regularly.
As to watering – celosias need moist but not soggy soil. Planting in poorly draining soil can lead to root rot so they should not be overwatered in clay-ey soil. Adding compost or rotted manure to the soil is helpful.
