The leaves of my cane begonia are becoming discolored and floppy. What is wrong?

Answer

Leaves of a cane-type begonia become pale, deteriorate, and become floppy, if the plant is overwatered, the pot doesn't drain well, the potting medium is too water retentive for this plant or run off water stays in the dish after watering. Poor air circulation, chill, and very high humidity will all make this problem worse.
